Grunt Sculpin (<em>Rhamphocottus richardsonii</em>)

Mimicking a giant barnacle for defensive measure a grunt sculpin sits next to it's home an abandoned barncle shell. If you carefully its snout looks like a barncle when its closed up, its tail aims to look like a feeding barncle. They are among my favorite subjects on the west coast.
