One of the most unusual places I've every dived. You could smell the suplhur though your mask, our weights were tarnished when we came out. The part of the lake we were diving in was quite shallow, and the wind was so strong it actually shaped the ripples on the bottom. One day it was so strong it felt as if you were swimming against the tide. There were gas bubbles seeping out all over the place. You did feel as if you were over something highly volatile, from a geological perspective.
