Remote Strobe Pic by Trevor Rees
Modeling for Trevor Rees

Rob is the model in Trevor's shot from Capenwray. Working with remote strobes is tricky business, and takes longer to setup than you might think. The strobes used in this case are a combination of Inon Z240s, Sea & Sea Ys30s, and two YS110s daisy chained together using fiber optic cable, and using the on camera strobe to trigger them all.
Trev's come up with a very nice picture here. We tend to do this kind of work in fresh water quarries as it's more manageable, the absence of any swell, and generally predictable conditions.
