Shot with Nikon D70s - Sea & Sea DX-D70 housing - Sea & Sea YS90 strobes
Nudibranch are purported to be quite bad tasting hence their bright coloration. There was a small coral head on otherwise vast expanse of eel grass, at first glance I thought this might not be a productive site, I've never seen so many nudibranchs in such a small area.
Generally when shooting macro a small aperture is required to gain maximum depth of field this shot was taken on f20 and there are still bits out of focus. This shot was taken in some relatively heavy surge, which worked for and against me on this shot.
Nudibranchs are popular subjects with most divers
